Happy MLK Day, everyone! Mortar Board had a blast serving our community today with UW Golden Key International Honour Society.
For today’s Member Monday we spotlight our Vice President Brian Carpenter, who is pictured at the service event today!
Brian is a currently a Junior at UW, studying Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Here at UW, he does research in his field of study at the Autonomous Flight Systems Laboratory. Brian also continued his research on a study abroad program throughout Australia last summer!
In addition to his studies, Brian just finished up his term as President of Phi Delta Theta – UW, while also juggling his position in Mortar Board, membership in UW Order of Omega, and activity on UW’s boxing team.
It blows our mind that Brian was able to hold down an internship at Blue Origin over winter break AND snag another awesome awesome internship at Boeing this summer despite everything else on his plate!
