Mortar Board Tolo Chapter is excited to share its last Member Monday of the quarter by introducing member Azelle Bahadory! Azelle is an International Studies major and linguistics minor who is currently a FIG leader for freshmen at the UW.
Azelle’s favorite part of college has been all of the interesting classes she can take. And with her background in international studies and linguistics, she hopes to become a Foreign Service Officer and create understanding between cultures. She’s already traveled all over, and really misses her time in Afghanistan in 2012-2013.
With experience as a cryptologic linguist in the US Navy, Azelle has already experienced the stress of being a full-time adult in the real world. When she gets overwhelmed, she takes a step back for some perspective and acknowledges that things could be much worse.
Thank you Azelle for bringing your vital and unique perspective to the 2018-2019 Tolo Chapter class, we are grateful to have such a stellar student and compassionate person working alongside us!
